Can I just drop by the gym to see the facility?

No, Empower is by appointment only since we do not have staff at the gym during all of our open hours. Please schedule a free discovery meeting and indicate on the intake form that you would like it to be in-person instead of over the phone if you want to see the gym before trying a class or joining.

What do I need to bring to the gym with me?

Empower Boxing is fully equipped with everything you need for class! If you have your own equipment, bring it with you. There will be a $5 charge for glove and wrap rental for ClassPassers. Please show up 10-15min before class to get set up!

What are your age requirements?

We require individuals be at least 18 years of age to attend group classes. If you have a kiddo who's interested in boxing, book them a 1:1 or 2:1 with a parent/sibling/friend to be best set up for success. If they really want to train with kids their age, we highly recommend Topeira Boxing just 15min South.

I am new to boxing. Can I sign up for any class?

There is a learning curve to boxing, just like any new skill, so we recommend starting with a 1:1 session or a Beginner Boxing class to get the fundamentals down before jumping into a group class setting. After that, Boxing Conditioning and All Levels classes will be what to watch for on the schedule!

Have boxing experience but not sure where to start?

Empower Boxing class programming is composed of partner focus mitt work so if you're coming from a fitness boxing gym or have only thrown punches on a bag, we recommend starting with a 1:1 session or a Beginner Boxing class before jumping into the All Levels or Boxing Conditioning classes to have the best experience!

How do I schedule a class?

Schedule all your Empower Boxing classes through our website or through the Fit by Wix app (access code is EMPOWAH). Have a membership or class package? Just log into your account on our website or app to book!

Do I need to check-in with anyone upon arrival?

Yes, our Coaches can't wait to meet you! Chances are they will know you're new and greet you by name.

What if I bought a drop in and now want to purchase a membership after taking a class?

Great! We will prorate the $25 drop in towards your membership of choice.

What if I need to cancel my membership?

Accepted Answer

Empower does not do contracts for memberships; however, you are responsible for cancelling the reoccurring No Limits or Level Up memberships through logging into your account and managing your subscription in your profile. If you encounter any issues cancelling, please send us an email as soon as possible since no refunds will be issued for attempting cancellation without notifying us or forgetting about your reoccurring membership.

Question 11

How does open gym work?

Accepted Answer

Hour-long open gym times are available to book with a No Limits membership though our website or app. You will have access to all the equipment in the studio to complete your own workout or practice the techniques you learned in group classes. Your unique key-code provided as part of your membership can be used to enter and lock-up the gym after your training session.

What's your reservation cancellation policy?

No-shows will be charged a $25 fee or lose their session credit. We want to ensure as many members can get into a class especially at prime hours/class times. If you need to change your schedule or cannot make it to class or your 1:1 session for any reason, please cancel your reservation online/on the app or send us an email at empowerboxingdenver@gmail.com to let us know within 12 hours.

Can I buy wraps and gloves at Empower?

Wraps are available to purchase at the gym for $6 along with some sweet swag; however, gloves are not available to purchase. We can make recommendations if you have questions!

When can I spar?

To begin sparring training, we require a minimum of 50 classes and attending two group classes throughout the week, mouth piece and headgear with Coach sign-off.

We are located on the East side of the complex. Parking lots are available to the East and West with additional overflow street parking available.
